As one of Sonic's most loyal allies, Tails is described as having a gentle and kind soul as well as being a genius who makes inventions that help out Sonic and his friends all the time.

I feel like as much as his fur is orange and that played into the theme, the sweet and subtle smell of Orange Sherbet truly matches his personality well.
